Financial Assistance

Second Chances Veterinary Care understands not all owners have the same means to pay, and we understand that veterinary care can be an unexpected and costly expense.

To keep our fees as low as possible for all clients it is imperative each client pays for the products and services provided to them. If you have any financial concerns or constraints, notify the staff before treatments are performed. for more information about financial assistance & financial resources please click here with the attached PDF.

The 2nd Chance Fund

In preparation for the opening of SECOND CHANCES VETERINARY CARE, an affordably priced surgery, procedure, and acute care focused veterinary clinic, it has been one of my DREAMS to set up a PET CARE FUND to help those pet owners who are truly in need and simply do not have the financial means to afford veterinary services.

About the 2nd Chance Fund

PICTURE THIS…

The silly dog who ingested their beloved squeaker toy, stuffed animal, or rawhide and now needs surgery to remove that blockage to survive…

Or folks who didn’t realize NOT spaying their pet could lead to a LIFE-THREATENING but VERY TREATABLE surgical emergency called PYOMETRA (pus-filled uterus)…

Or the unsuspecting pet parent of a tom cat who is BLOCKED and cannot urinate (pee) without life-saving intervention…

For cases such as these, and many others…the sad but realistic situation for pet owners with limited expendable resources are faced with the dilemma of EITHER paying bills OR spending that money toward the care of their furry best friend.  They have an impossible decision to make. An unfortunate and far too common choice is economic euthanasia for treatable conditions carrying the chance of a good outcome…

I introduce to you The 2nd Chance Fund offered through the Veterinary Care Foundation.  This fund will be used to help cases such as those mentioned above when that pet parent has run out of options.

The staff at Second Chances Veterinary Care, pets in need, and the pet parents who love them would be grateful if you donated to the cause and spread the word to all you know!
